All of us will eventually die, and when we do, each of us will face judgmenta from a righteous God, and each of us will either be judged guilty and will spend eternity separated from God in hell, or we will be judged as sinless and righteous and go to heaven. This is bad news because all of us are sinners and all of us fall short of being righteousb, therefore all of us are guilty.
aHebrews 9:27 – And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,
bRomans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
The good news is that Jesus Christ has offered to save us by making us 100% righteous and sinless before God, as He took upon Himself God’s wrath in judgment of every single sin of mankind, when He died on the cross for us out of His love for usa.
aRomans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
To be saved by Christ you must be at the point in your life where you realize that you are an imperfect sinner in need of savinga. God is sinless and absolutely righteous, unlike all of us human beings, and because so, you cannot be in His presence in Heaven without being 100% sinlessb. No human on earth except Jesus Christ, lived a life with zero sinc.
aIsaiah 64:6 – For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
b1 Corinthians 1:30 – But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,
cHebrews 4:15 - For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
You must repent of your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you. Repent means to acknowledge your sin and to turn away from it. This is not to say that once saved by Christ, you will never again stumble or fall awaya. But your heart will be changed, and you will strive for righteousness out of your love for God.
a1 John 1:6-8 – If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
Make Jesus your King, the Lord of your life. Jesus Christ is our Savior and our Lorda.
aRomans 10:9 – that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
If you understand that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, and you want to turn from your sin and make Jesus the Lord of your life and the resident of your heart, pray the prayer below:
"Lord Jesus, I know I'm a sinner but You died on the cross and shed Your blood for every sin I have ever committed. I'm sorry for that sin and I turn from it now. I ask You to come into my life and be my Savior, my Lord, my God, and my Friend. I choose to follow You from this moment forward. Thank You for calling me, accepting me, and forgiving me. In Jesus name I pray, amen."
